Father Roberts Institute, a place of support, care and education for young deaf and children with learning disabilities. Our institution was founded by Father Ronald Roberts, who was inspired by his experiences as a chaplain for the British Army during World War II. Father Roberts was determined to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with disabilities and in 1967, he started the Father Roberts Institute for Young Deaf in Lebanon. After his passing in 1983, the institute was bequeathed to the nuns of the Basilian Chouerite Order to ensure its continuation and sustainability. Today, we remain committed to Father Roberts’ vision of providing a nurturing and supportive environment that empowers young people with disabilities to reach their full potential. We strive to offer the best possible education, healthcare and emotional support to our students, and we are proud to be a part of their journey towards a brighter future.
